We bought a foreclosure property with a HVAC system that was inoperable and in unknown condition. Several
big name companies told us a new "everything" would be needed totaling roughly $6500.00.Tim came out, did
a thorough inspection and said it was quite fixable, although much work would be needed, with costs totaling
only 1/3 the amount of any previous estimates. After the initial repairs, more problems were discovered and
needless to say, Carolina Heating and Air Design did everything in their power keep costs at a bare minimum
while continuing on with repairs. This included a couple of parts installed - at cost, and follow up to make sure
everything was right. That follow up included over a dozen evening trips out for Tim to hook up and run his
compressor (sometimes overnight) to continually remove moisture from the system. Tim said his five year old
compressor worked harder here than all his other jobs combined! As I said, this was a foreclosure property -
sold as-is, and we all knew what we were getting into. They didn't give up and perseverance finally paid off as
things began looking normal - no more contamination. None of us could believe the amount of moisture that
was present in the lines of this system! I can't speak highly enough for the courtesy, professionalism and
perseverance of this company, let alone the value they provide. It would be great if we got this quality of
service anywhere else! They far exceeded our expectations and made us a loyal customer.

I will never call another HVAC company in Charlotte. Dawn and Tim are fantastic, friendly, and
responsible. I saw their ad that said free second opinion on repairs. Another company said I needed $1500 in
repairs on my AC due to a leak. I didn't feel comfortable about it so I called Carolina Heating and Air Design.
Tim did a thorough inspection and, guess what? He didn't find any leaks. Instead he proposed a sensible and
affordable maintenance plan, even suggesting how I can use the annual maintenance program to my
advantage. This is the kind of company a single woman wants to work with! Thanks so much - look forward
to working with you for a long, long time.
